The WP Training Program
A trained employee becomes more productive faster than his untrained counterpart. Unfortunately, most IT companies expect their employees to have all the required job skills from day one and do not provide any training. WorldPartner is different. Every year, it selects a handful of highly talented fresh graduates and puts them on an intensive training program to give them a solid foundation on fundamental technologies such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. They are also exposed to Agile Testing, TestComplete, Selenium and various other testing technologies so that they can immediately be productive as software testers.
After completing the first phase, the trainees can choose to become either full time testers or to continue improving their development skills. Those who aspire to become full time developers will get their feet wet with C#, ASP. NET, SQL Server, .NET Framework and various other development technologies. Those who complete the second phase, because of their training, will immediately be able to contribute value to the development project they are assigned to work on.
